The main component of PE foam is polyethylene, with a softening point of about 110 ° C. Below 100 ° C, the foam is stable in nature and will not self-adhesive. PE foam needs adhesive at normal temperature, such as foam tape. However, cross-linked PE foam can produce viscosity at high temperatures, which is a characteristic of PE foam materials.
The foam can be laminated together after the high temperature flame to achieve the thickness required by the customer: two rolls of foam are bonded into a roll by the high temperature flame of the roll press.
Apply adhesive on one or both sides of the foam: Commonly used are domestic hot-melt adhesives, acrylic adhesives, acrylic adhesives (acrylic adhesives), viscosity: low, medium, high, and strong viscosity options.
